Detailed Description

The instrument is suitable for the the People's Republic of China national standard method: HY505-2009 water quality five days biochemical oxygen demand (BOD5) determination of dilution and inoculation method.

The user puts the sample and blank (two) into the sample bottle and transfers it to the sample rack (the empty bottle where there is no sample) to the machine sample position, and closes the operation door. Then all the operations are completed automatically by the machine until it is reported on the computer (it can also be displayed on the mobile phone APP). Samples can be added or transferred to an external incubator.

The specific operation process is:

If the user chooses to use a pipette to add samples at a pre-established dilution factor, the machine will fill each sample bottle with 300ml of dilution water.

If the user selects automatic injection, you need to set the dilution transfer position on the computer. The machine will take the calculated sample amount into the specified sample bottle through the 50ml syringe controlled by the stepping motor according to the dilution multiple, and then fill all the sample bottles again.

To start the measurement of initial dissolved oxygen of DO1, first judge whether DO1 is less than 8mg/L, if it is less than 8mg/L, start the aeration procedure, then measure the temperature, if it is not at 20±1 ℃, measure the next one, and so on until the measurement is completed. Wait for temperature stabilization time can be defined.

Wait for the five-day culture period, because the use of a special bottle cap, you can not add water seal.

After completing the five-day incubation period, the system automatically measures the DO2 of each sample bottle and immediately forms a report to send to the computer and mobile phone APP.
